Job Description

responsible for managing day-to-day HR operations and supporting a wide range of HR functions to ensure the smooth and effective functioning of the HR department. This role serves as a key point of contact for employees and management, providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and coordinate HR programs including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and training.
  • Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with labor laws and internal policies.
  • Support payroll and benefits administration in collaboration with finance or external providers.
  • Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
  • Provide guidance to employees and managers on HR-related issues and conflict resolution.
  • Participate in HR projects such as employee engagement initiatives, diversity and inclusion efforts, and organizational development.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in a generalist HR role.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

Preferred Certifications:

  • PHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent HR certification is a plus.
